The arrest of the Far-Right rapper 'Der Bond' (aka Mr Bond) and its cover on the media has created another martyr for the Siege/Hardcore far-right movement unifying in their tribute many groups which in some cases are rivals. Martyrs have this symbolic power to unite instead of divide; this has occurred with Brenton Tarrant ,  Luca Traini and Anders Behring Breivik.

For this reason, there is now a website which is collecting funds for Der Bond. The concept of Martyr has been always linked to death in the media but as Der Bond case shows.

It is not death itself that creates the martyr, but his testimony. It is the content of what the martyr affirms with his actions, and not his supposed innocence, that makes him a martyr. It is not enough to be an innocent victim to be a martyr, his testimony , his actions should transcend and survive him, something that binds him to the narrative and memory of his “heroic” act.
